Initiatory Journey to Peru

Spiritual Retreats in the Amazon (Pucallpa) & the Andes (Cusco)

The Meaning of an Initiatory Journey

Journey comes from the Latin viaticum, meaning “provisions for the road.”
Via means path, and -ticum refers to what is necessary to undertake a journey.
Originally, the word referred to what one carried to travel. Over time, it came to represent the journey itself.

A journey, therefore, is to walk a path with what is necessary to complete it.

Initiatory comes from the Latin initium (beginning, entry) and initiare (to begin or to introduce into a mystery).

In spiritual traditions, initiation represents a passage through an experience or ritual that opens the door to deeper knowledge, expanded consciousness, and personal transformation.

An initiatory journey is therefore the beginning of a spiritual path — an entrance into sacred knowledge.

11-Day Sacred Retreat

Amazon & Andes Spiritual Experience

Spend 11 days reconnecting with your origins, honoring Pachamama (Mother Earth), and learning the Amazonian and Andean worldview from Indigenous wisdom keepers.
