Ayahuasca is a traditional Amazonian plant brew used for centuries by Indigenous communities for spiritual and healing purposes. It is typically prepared from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine together with complementary plants such as Psychotria viridis.
Consumed in a guided ceremonial setting, ayahuasca can facilitate deep introspection, emotional release, and spiritual insight.

The preparatory diet, often called la dieta is a very important part of the ayahuasca process.
We strongly recommend following the dietary guidelines for at least two weeks before the ceremony.
The diet typically includes:
Avoiding alcohol and recreational substances
Avoiding pork, processed foods, excess salt and sugar
Avoiding spicy foods and fermented products
Avoiding sexual activity
Avoiding certain medications (especially antidepressants or MAOIs, only under medical supervision)
You can read more about it here, we also inform you via email weeks before you arrive at the center.
-
The diet supports:
• Physical safety
• Nervous system regulation
• Emotional clarity
• Deeper connection to the medicine
• Reduced risk of adverse reactionsFrom a traditional Amazonian perspective, the diet also prepares the body and spirit to receive the plant teachings with respect and sensitivity.
Participants who follow the diet carefully often report a smoother and more profound experience.
Detailed guidelines are provided upon registration.

Safety depends on proper preparation, screening, and responsible facilitation.
We require full medical disclosure before participation. Ayahuasca can interact dangerously with certain medications and may not be appropriate for individuals with specific psychiatric or cardiovascular conditions.
Your well-being is our priority, and we maintain clear safety protocols before and during every ceremony.

Yes, deeply so.
Our center was created as a space where women feel safe, respected, and supported throughout their healing process.
We work under the guidance of female maestras (masters) who carry traditional knowledge and ceremonial authority. The presence of women leading ceremonies creates a nurturing, grounded, and protective environment.
We understand that many women seek healing in spaces where they feel emotionally and physically secure. Our retreat honors feminine wisdom, leadership, and spiritual strength.
-
Our ceremonies are guided by experienced women masters trained within Amazonian traditions. Their knowledge comes from years of apprenticeship, plant dietas, and ceremonial practice.
Their leadership ensures a respectful, culturally rooted, and ethically held ceremonial space.
-
Purging refers to physical release such as vomiting or diarrhea. In Amazonian tradition, this is understood as a cleansing process not only physically, but emotionally and energetically.
Not everyone purges, and its intensity varies. It is considered a natural part of the experience.
-
Many participants report personal insights, emotional release, and increased clarity after ceremonies. Some find relief from stress, anxiety, or unresolved emotional patterns.
However, ayahuasca is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. Those with mental health conditions should consult qualified professionals before attending.
-
Ayahuasca use in traditional ceremonial contexts is legal in Peru. Our retreat operates within the legal and cultural framework of the country.
International participants should verify the regulations in their home country before traveling.

Yes.
Integration is an essential part of the process. We provide guidance to help you reflect on and incorporate your experience into daily life in a grounded and healthy way.
Healing does not end with the ceremony, it continues through integration.
