Events

We hold special events and collaborate with locals in different areas of Peru. We cater everything for a profound experience and insight into Peruvian culture and traditions.

Currently we offer these two events, The Initiatory Journey to Peru and The YANANTIN. They are listed below for more details and with more events to come in the future.

Initiatory Journey to Peru

Spiritual Retreats in the Amazon (Pucallpa) & the Andes (Cusco)

The Meaning of an Initiatory Journey

Journey comes from the Latin viaticum, meaning “provisions for the road.”
Via means path, and -ticum refers to what is necessary to undertake a journey.
Originally, the word referred to what one carried to travel. Over time, it came to represent the journey itself.

A journey, therefore, is to walk a path with what is necessary to complete it.

Initiatory comes from the Latin initium (beginning, entry) and initiare (to begin or to introduce into a mystery).

In spiritual traditions, initiation represents a passage through an experience or ritual that opens the door to deeper knowledge, expanded consciousness, and personal transformation.

An initiatory journey is therefore the beginning of a spiritual path an entrance into sacred knowledge.

The Spirit of Yanantin

Yanantin is one of the deepest principles of the Andean worldview. It does not represent opposition, but living complementarity.

In Andean cosmology, everything exists in sacred pairs:

  • Sun and Moon

  • Masculine and Feminine

  • Apus (sacred mountains) and Pachamama (Mother Earth)

These forces do not compete—they complete one another.

Key Principles of Yanantin

Sacred Duality
Everything in existence emerges in complementary pairs.

Complementarity
No energy is complete without the other. Together they create harmony and purpose.

Relationality
Nothing exists in isolation; everything lives in relationship.

Unity
The suffix –ntin means “together,” “included within a greater whole.”

During this retreat we activate the Yanantin principle through sacred places, ancient temples, the elements, and the body, integrating masculine and feminine energy as creative forces of life.
